Samoa Cake, or, my greatest work thus far

So I rarely make cake that I get to eat. Most of the cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc that I make are for clients. But lately, I'd just really been wanting a slice of cake. Golden, buttery, with creamy luscious frosting, and a little bit decadent. Oh, and alllll mine. And then this past week, someone dropped girl scout cookies off at the Museum. And I did a bad thing guys. I dreamt ALL week of how I could turn my absolute all time favorite girl scout cookie into a cake. I'm not trying to pat myself on the back here, but I succeeded. BIGTIME. This is an SKBT Original, and I couldn't be prouder.
